The goal is to instil the idea of Lean Thinking, to implement training, consultancy and problem solving approaches for the establishment, sustainment, training and integration to the current operations structure of Lean Production Systems, and to provide improvement services for the 10 member companies wishing to take advantage of the consultancy support under the TURKHAS Project. The consultancy service which we call "Lean Conversion" consists of three phases and will take one and a half year. The aim is to visit the factories of our 10 companies 35 times to properly establish the Lean Conversion system, and to realise at least 5 lean projects at each company. The consultancy program was launched with the "Kick-Off Meeting" held on 23 August 2017 and the first site visits were made on 1 September 2017. All three phases were completed in March 2020, and the program concluded with a wrap-up meeting.”
